One thing I really enjoy about moving to a new place is that you slowly discover the local legends. We had some new friends visit us for dinner a few weeks back and they were telling us about the exploding whale. We had never heard about it and they described it and then said, look it up, it's on youtube, so we had to. Here it is, for your entertainment. Enjoy, or rather, have a whale of a time!
