I bought a ukelele today. after dreaming about having one for awhile now, well maybe 2 weeks. I found one on craigslist in my neighborhood, checked it out and brought it home, along with extra strings and a chord book.

I am in love with all the tinkly little notes.

I walked around work today just plinking around. it's so small and sweet sounding.

Came home and learned how to tune it, it's amazing how magic it sounds when it's tuned, and I'd like to practice tuning with my ears to get it right.

I learned a few basic chords today thanks to online uke lessons and am getting the hang of sore fingertips.
