I am currently in the stages of sanding down a lovely little end table I picked up for about $2. I totally spaced out on making it a before and after or even a tutorial, but pictures of the completed project will come soon.
This little GE clock is a proud favorite. I picked him up at an antique store hoping to simply rewire him, but when I opened it up to examine the damage it looked fried. So I decided to just convert it to a battery operated gearing system instead. I found a cheap zoloft wall clock at the thrift store for replacement parts. Now we have a gorgeous wall clock for the kitchen and it uses less energy.
