Trashique

After having lost my job I immediately went gang busters on this dress. It was a total challenge to get started. It came together really well and I finished it early. The night was incredible. My model Kristy ( sister-in-law) showed up at 2pm for hair and makeup and to get the head piece situated. We got her dressed at 7:30pm and hit  the runway by 8:10. The dress was amazing in motion, the paper ruffles flounce in a delicate way and the yellow in the spotlight just glows. The hair and paper mache skull head piece were fierce! The audience went nuts. After the show we walked the runway together then the models came out for an extra peek at the details and materials. During the after party we got some amazing feedback. Don't worry Jennifer Emerling was working her magic in the crowd so there are definitely more lovely shots to come. Definitely the best event of the year. I want to make my clothes from now on.

At home, I had to suspend it just to keep everything in
place and to make
 construction easier.
