It's the last week of May and the weather is overcast and windy and then sunny with beautiful bounding clouds.
My 30th birthday was last week, I've been expecting it for so long, and it was such a perfectly uneventful kind of birthday. Very low key. Z. is not only cleaning, painting and rebuilding my bicycle, but he bought me a lovely olive green cycling bag and on a full morning of yard and estate sales he bought me some vintage wool skirts (1.00 each) and some lovely wool cardigans ( I can never have enough) I feel completely spoiled. I also got a few sweet cards, a book of cycling trails, a frozen yogurt gift certificate ( mandatory), some lovely colored masking tape, these straws and this most amazing book
The Tiny Voyagers show is going up in the Ranch house at the River Center. 5 wood burned boats and 5 small paper mache boats for installation with branches. It's a small show, but it was hard hard work. We hang pieces tomorrow and the reception is June 24th ( mark your calendars) . Pictures will be up soon, I promise.
Heading to Southern California this weekend. I promise to take too many pictures.
