progress

I promised to show the new stuff as it was coming, and here it is. I'm learning the art of pyrography, or wood burning. It's a little tricky to get the details I want, but it keeps me on the boundary between loose and tight and I like the difference in the lines. The worst is inhaling the smoke. but I'll figure out how to get by that. I have been reading this amazing book A wonderful anthropological, mystical and scientifical look at water. It's much more complicated than H2O and I would suggest reading it aloud during dinner preparation to your loved ones. As a complete aside, I absolutely adore Lyall Watson and in reading the Holy order of Water I came across a new book of his. New to me anyway. The Lives of Inanimate Objects Other must reads are Supernature and the Romeo Error

Wheat! Spring has sprung in the garden. My brother did a fantastic job with the layout this season and with the recent rain everything has just exploded. The morning sunlight on all this freshery makes me hungry. Eating seasonally? Artichokes, arugula, watercress, asparagus, chard, mustard greens, dandelion greens, spinach and parsley. Eating the yummy fresh greens of spring will tone up your liver, making it easier to purge the toxins that you accumulated throughout winter.

These strawberries are now bright red and the birds keep stealing them away and eating them in the rows of corn, as if we can't see them.
Fennel.
