OK, So I know I've been slacking on posting, but everything is kind of up in the air right now and I'm busy playing arpeggio's just to keep things suspended.

The studio/living space is regularly a huge mess these days because I'm currently working on a huge project. The Fresno Art Museum is having a Trashique fashion show in November. All the artists must submit outfits made of trash within an artist theme. My theme is Georgia O'keefe and the dress is made of old hangers, cardboards, yarn, some lame old curtains, and lots of receipt ribbon.
I have never before made a dress from scratch so this whole thing has been a major learning experience, but I'm loving it. The hat is pictured below, keeping with the O'keefe theme, I paper mached a skull fascinator. It's crazy big and I used an old onion mesh bag as the fascinator material. I'm currently making a smaller one for myself and if it works out these just might be a new etsy item.
