spring time

I am a major fan of the time change.
Z. and I spent some time with these guys last week. Came across them while driving through Snelling.

Cool rivers and hot rocks, I want to go swimming!

New projects available on Etsy. or you can have one for free if you can tell me which river runs through Snelling.

roughin it

It's pretty much depressing to discover that in the two years I was away I somehow became allergic to home. These last two weeks have been very frustrating. Nasal drip and sinus headaches and scratchy throat. ugh. My days have been hectic, flying by the seat of my pants at work and making adjustments to lessons on the fly every single day is exhausting. I haven't had much time for projects lately, since I do officially have a "bedtime" just so I can get to work on time. I have been slowly paper macheing some boats, 5 to be exact, and they are looking great, but it is slow work, especially when working in half hour chunks just before bed. Also making some more of my new years garlands for Etsy. Everything feels very overwhelming right now. Thankfully, Z. and I have a camping trip planned soon to one of our favorite get away spots. I'm so ready for warm pebbly beaches, ocean views, campfire cookouts and outdoor showers. Perfect timing is all I'm gonna say.

Show and tell

Oh, this little gem of a record player knocks me out when I get a chance to play her loud. Z. and I found her at a goodwill outside Olympia WA and it is easily one of my all time treasured treasures. The 45 on board is Boney M.'s Belfast. Love it Love it Love it. Z. bought me 2 45's and 2 full length Boney M albums. Needless to say, much dancing has been happening in my room, and I am the luckiest girls in the world.
Tumbleweed hanging from my ceiling. This is how I meditate on projects, bring a seed in and live with it for awhile. Fortunately this tumble lost all it's prickly spines in it's tumble.

Don't forget...

I took a few days off work to visit Z. for his Birthday. It was a much needed get away. The train ride through the valley was perfectly muddy and all a bloom. So nice to see all the rivers and canals busting with water.
